DEPARTMENT TOURS
The Lancaster Police Department is open to requests from school or civic organizations to provide tours of our facility. To schedule a tour of the facility please contact the department.

RIDE ALONGS
"Ride along" means to be an official passenger in a patrol vehicle, accompanying a police officer during part of a normal tour of duty. The primary purpose is to provide an opportunity for the individual or community to see first-hand the workings of the law enforcement as it relates to the City of Lancaster. It fosters a better understanding of the challenges, hazards and rewards of a police officer. Particularly useful for Criminal Justice students. If you are at least 18 years of age and would like to participate, please contact the department for further details.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
Members of the Lancaster Police Department are available to speak on a wide array of subjects from drug awareness and education, crime prevention, or gun safety. If you or any member of a civic organization or community group are interested in having one of our officers speak at your event, please contact the department for further details.
